Using Quickguard

Step 1

step1

Open quick release and remove skewer nut

Step 2

step1

Screw the Quickguard skewer nut into place and close the quick release lever, securing the wheel in place.

Step 3

step1

Loosen the Hex bolt on the Quickguard clamp. Then slide the mudguard onto the Quickguard skewer nut

Step 4

step1

Align the centre of the Quickguard® with the centre of the tyre. You can adjust the height of the guard to suit tyre size by changing the number of shims used in the stack. We recommend leaving approx. 10mm between the top of your tyre and the underside of the guard.

Step 5

step1

Adjust the position of the mudguard as shown for optimum spray protection. Then tighten the hex bolt to a maximum of 3.5Nm on the Quickguard® clamp to secure the guard in place.

Step 6

Optionally, you can fine tune the rotational position of the Quickguard® blade by loosening the micro adjustment hex bolt at the top of the mudguard. Do not tighten this hex bolt more than 3.5Nm.

Additional Fitting Instructions for Disc Brakes Only

Before installing the guard as shown, remove your existing Thru Axle and replace with the Quickguard® Thru Axle (available to purchase separately). This will provide the appropriate mounting point for the Quickguard®.

If you are in any way unsure about the correct fitment of your Quickguard®
please consult a professional bicycle mechanic.
